Lisa is a Partner and Client Advisor with IronOak Wealth, serving clients all over the country with offices in Austin, TX. Lisa works with active and retired business owners, multi-generational families and those going through transition (earning capabilities, divorce, inheritance). She welcomes those seeking a change in their financial advisor or who have never worked with an advisor.
Lisa’s approach is different than most in how she supports her clients and learns about their passions, fears, dreams and principles to help ensure they are reflected in their financial pursuits. By looking at all of the pieces together she is able to uncover opportunities to make the lives of each client easier and their legacies stronger. As a result, Lisa has often been described as a financial coach and even a consigliere.
Lisa works side by side with her clients to create a financial plan. This plan acts as a north star and informs the customized approach she takes to managing investments and determining where and how insurance and annuities have a place in helping her clients attain their goals. She also offers fee based only financial planners for clients who manage their own investments or don’t have liquid investments needing a professional money manager. In addition, she can provide trustee services and fractional family office services.
Lisa is a former practicing Trust and Estate Attorney with over 25 years of experience in investment and risk management, financial and estate planning and as a business owner herself. She also spent over 9 years in executive leadership, helping to manage the suite of wealth management offerings and teams at one of the World's largest banks before shifting her focus to her true passion: client service.
Lisa has had multiple articles published in academic and trade journals, been interviewed for a range of diverse media channels, and conducted seminars on various topics. She has been honored for her past service on several boards and is active now on the boards of her synagogue and various commercial real estate and women centered organizations. She has also led Diversity and Inclusion councils throughout her career. She is passionate about serving others while giving them tools to control their own destiny.
Lisa graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law and then, while working full time, went on to obtain her Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law. She also holds Series 7, 66 and life insurance licenses. She was raised in New York City and for the past decade has been proud to call Austin and its business community her home, along with her husband and two daughters. As avid cross-fitters, Lisa and her husband have instilled in their children the importance of physical fitness, resilience, and community.
